New research shows that Use of GaitSmart to inform and personalise rehabilitation of falls patients results in a significant improvement in standard Frailty metrics. We are very pleased to see the publication of the results of a study carried out as part of a great collaboration with Geraldine Rodgers and Anna Motley with the NHS East London Foundation Trust (NELFT).

During this clinical trial, measurement of gait with GaitSmart was also used to monitor progress – The study showed that focusing on improvements in gait resulted in improvement in frailty, reduced fear of falling, a reduced reliance on walking aids and increased walking speed.
