See GaitSmart in the Approach Project Videos

Are we able to predict the progression of knee osteoarthritis? At the end of the APPROACH project in November 2021, the consortium published a series of videos elaborating on this and other topics such as the biomarker analysis and computer algorithm used in the project, the role of MRI scans and the use of the GaitSmart system to measure participants’ gait, among others. In these videos osteoarthritis patient representatives, members of the APPROACH patient council, share their learnings and experiences from participating in the project. The GaitSmart video shows how a test is performed and explains how the different measurements in the report relate to the severity of knee osteoarthritis.
