DML are very proud to announce that we are part of the MAP Rehab study, using our new GaitSmart 2 system. This is being run by the NNUH Orthopaedic Clinical Research team and aims to improve quality of life by reducing the risk of falls and arthritis for patients in the future. This project aims to improve patients gait after hospital discharge through objective analysis and recommended bespoke exercises with the expectation this will improve walking and movement and through this improvement in QoL as well as future reductions in musculoskeletal and other related health conditions. Trials will be performed on patients at NNUH and UEA will develop the economic model.
